Having launched brand pages on the site just over a week ago, Google has now announced that it has partnered with a group of small companies to help provide the tools businesses need to manage their pages on Google+, according to an article published by New Media Age.

Third-party companies such as Hootsuite, Involver and Context Optional will now work and test the social media management tools they currently offer with Google+.

With many brands operating social media marketing campaigns across a number of platforms, Google has recognised the need for management tools that are also compatible with its social network.

Product manager of Google+ pages, Sarah McKinley, said: “Businesses can create and manage their pages directly through Google+. We are committed to working on enhancements and innovative features to offer businesses more flexibility to run their pages.

“We also recognise that some businesses use social media management companies to manage their presence across multiple social networks,” she added.
