Microsoft has launched adExcellence in the UK, according to the adCenter blog.
The programme was launched in the US in December 2007, however the blog confirmed today that it was now being rolled out to UK advertisers.
It provides advertisers with "free training to help you become a Microsoft adCenter expert", according to the blog.
Advertisers are also encouraged to take Microsoft adExcellence accreditation exams once they are confident with the techniques.
Once successfully completed, advertisers become certified adCenter accredited consultants which increases their industry recognition and gives them member status and a place in the adExcellence membership directory.
Microsoft’s adExcellence programme is the official accreditation programme, which offers both free training materials and a fee-based examination that allows adCenter advertisers the ability to develop their adCenter expertise and demonstrate their specific knowledge.
Microsoft has also indicated that the programme is soon to be updated to include additional training materials and benefits to accredited Microsoft adExcellence members.
