Yahoo! Has announced that it is to make some small adjustments to its Panama marketing tool.

According to the Yahoo! Search Marketing Blog the system is to be tuned up with two new improvements that it claims will boost sponsored search and make marketing campaigns run more smoothly.

The first of the two changes is a ‘Campaign Tune Up’ which the search engine claims is the equivalent to "installing a nitro-booster" and is targeted directly at sponsored search. The option works automatically for users who are not running Campaign Optimizer.

It is hoped that using this service will allow Panama users to keep a closer eye on performance history and cost of conversions, among other things.

"You can either accept or reject the suggestions, but fine-tuning your bids could help your campaign run a lot better," the blog states.

The second item, ‘Sticky Widget’, aims to remember more preferences so that marketers spend less time changing the details of their account.
