Google that allows the ranking and reorganising of search results has developed a new search program, it has emerged.

According to Wired, the new system has been applied to the accounts of selected users and according to the search engines help page will "influence your search experience by adding, moving, and removing search results".

Wired reports that a series of buttons will now be available on the search results page that allows users to highlight, reorder and even add relevant pages.

"In short, it more or less takes a page from social news sites like Digg orReddit and applies it Google searches, however, the important difference is that this appears to limited to the individual," the website states.

However, it is added that this new feature is not expected to be added to the search engines main site any time soon and may be just an experiment by Google.
