Yahoo! has announced the launch of a new Traffic Quality Centre, which the firm suggests makes search engine marketing better.

The new centre from Yahoo! allows users to learn how to submit a click investigation request, get the latest news on traffic quality and access tools and tips to enable them to track click fraud.

Articles on how to protect a search engine marketing investment will also be available, according to the Yahoo! Search Marketing Blog.

On the blog Yahoo! vice president of network quality Reggie Davis offered that the company’s commitment to reducing click fraud and improving quality of traffic is not a new stance.

"Since 1998, our Click Protection System has been up and running 24/7 with the goal of filtering out bad clicks – helping to ensure that you’re only billed for the clicks that count," Mr Davis said.

The Yahoo! Search Marketing Blog recently suggested companies should combine both search engine advertising as well as offline methods to reap rewards from those that research products online first.
