The first step towards site improvement is on-page optimisation, according to one expert.
Writing for industry news website Promotion World, Karan Singh advises that before web users embark on a full search engine optimisation (SEO) project they should look first at the on-page content.
He advises that marketing a web page begins when constructing a site and that users should consider including keywords into domain names, page content and title tags to provide a simple and effective way of making pages search friendly.
" On-page optimisation is the first step towards getting a high rank in search engines," he writes.
"Before running your SEO campaign, either work on on-page factors first or include it into your plan. You will get better and fast results if your on-page factors are taken care well."
