The most successful internet marketing agency campaigns have been picked by an online business publication.

As part of Catalogue/e-business magazine’s November 24th issue which highlighted "Emails we love", it said "received the most raves" for its emails that are "chock-full of features".

The publication notes the company’s messages include animated product imagery, along with links to customer-submitted items – such as Photo or Video of Week.

Catalogue/e-business editorial director Sherry Chiger said: "An effective marketing email, by definition, is one that encourages recipients to clickthrough."

"The emails we spotlight in our issue encouraged even our jaded staff to respond to them."

Ms Chiger also hailed fashion retailer Asos’ website marketing of a lunchtime-only sale, describing it as "great for creating a sense of urgency".

Other companies mentioned by Catalogue/e-business included for its promotion of the website following alterations, as well as Feather & Black for its use of methods in an aim to appeal to men.
