AOL Advertising was the number one property in comScore’s US Ad Focus Rankings for August.
The organisation, which aids online marketing services, received 179.6 million unique visitors during the month, with its reach extending to 91 per cent of the total internet audience.
Yahoo! Network was second with a reach of 88.1 per cent, followed by Google Ad Network (84.5 per cent), ValueClick Networks (81.5 per cent) and Yahoo! Sites (80.1 per cent).
Of the top five, Google was the biggest grower, overtaking ValueClick in the list and improving its reach by 1.5 percentage points compared to July.
ValueClick was down by 1.5 percentage points, while both Yahoo! portals made 0.1 percentage point gains.
Meanwhile, in the top 50 properties list, also published by comScore this week, Google Sites placed first, receiving 161.1 million visitors.
Yahoo! Sites was second with approximately three million less hits, with Microsoft Sites, AOL LLC and Facebook.com rounding out the top five.
