This is the suggestion of Brian Massey, writing for Search Engine Land, who highlighted a number of ways of improving online marketing services.
Placing navigation buttons in the top left-hand corner of the page could be of benefit, he explained, as this is where the reader’s eye naturally falls when they are viewing a site.
Mr Massey added that copy is also an important consideration, with clear, concise and accessible writing preferred to persuasive yet empty verse.
"Specifics are almost always important for conversion," he said, noting that placing the value proposition as close to the top of the page as possible is the best option.
