Internet marketing firms working with Bing on a daily basis may benefit from new changes that have been introduced by the search engine.

Writing on its Community blog, the brand has detailed how browsers can augment a search query in different ways.

While many may have used Bing API to tailor requests in the past, the Advanced Query tool is being recommended as a way to carry out this process in an API request or a Bing box.

The company explains that if users want to augment a query for ‘windows’ with results pages from, they would enter the phrase ‘windows’.

Professionals can also view Bing Query Language in one of three formats available from MSDN, Microsoft Download Centre or the Developer Centre, the firm added.

In other news from Bing, the brand recently increased its focus on entertainment as part of its summer update, as this is a popular area among users.
