Google has unveiled a new AdWords product extensions feature that could benefit internet marketing agencies looking to boost sales.
In an article posted on the Inside AdWords blog by Dan Friedman, the search engine explains the new development allows users to add more relevant and specific information to their existing advertisements.
Marketers can use their Google Merchant Centre account to store products lists.
When a customer enters a search, any items from this list that match their query are displayed with images, titles and prices in a plusbox underneath the original advertisement.
Product extensions also show consumers the results most relevant to their query, Google continues.
"Advertisers using product extensions have found that the additional product information has helped improve the performance of their search campaigns," the brand states.
This is not the only new development introduced by Google this week, as it also launched its Docs presentations tool, which enables marketers to share presentations and collaborate using their internet browser.
