Yahoo! will host a free online webinar for advertisers having their paid search accounts switched from its platform to Microsoft adCenter.
The search engine is currently in the final phase of transferring pay per click marketing accounts and the session, which will take place at 11:00 Pacific Time/14:00 Eastern Time on October 14th, will allow users to ask any questions they may have about the change.
Experts from both Yahoo! and Microsoft will be on hand to provide guidance on transitioning accounts to adCenter and there will be a live demo, as well as a discussion looking at the main differences between the two platforms.
Advertisers have already been advised to set up their adCenter account by October 25th at the latest or their ads will stop appearing on the Yahoo! Search network.
In related news, Jeremy Hull of Search Engine Watch said brands should review their keyword lists once they have been transferred as differences in how Yahoo! and Microsoft normalise phrases could leave "gaps" in their campaigns.
