CA announces Yahoo! deal Management software company CA have announced a deal to integrate Yahoo! search toolbars in its packages.

The distribution agreement will include releases of CA's home and home office products such as the CA Internet Security Suite Plus software to be released later this year.

Yahoo! will also offer CA Anti-Spy users access to a website with help and information on spyware and internet security threats using data based on global intelligence from CA Security Advisor.

Joff Redfern, senior director of product management at Yahoo! search distribution, said that due to the number of online threats, many internet users are still unsure of the products they need.

"It's important to provide our users with the best, most accessible tools to safeguard their online experience and enable them to search the web with peace of mind," he said.

"We look forward to continue working with CA to deliver quality, reliable anti-spyware protection as part of the Yahoo! toolbar."

CA began as a four-person operation in the mid-1970s providing information technology management solutions. It now employs around 16,000 people and reported revenue of $3.796 billion (£1.874 billion) in the fiscal year 2006.
