The search engine Google has improved one of its applications with the release of a new beta.

Google Chrome, last updated in May, has had a new beta added to its functions which enables users to surf the web quicker, in a more colourful online environment.

When it was first launched, the programme was intended to better the browsing experience for customers by providing a modern platform for both pages and applications, designed to be both efficient and simple.

The new features include a customisable new tab page and some more themes for people to decorate their browsers with in different colours, patterns and images. There is also an improved Omnibox, the combined search and address bar. HTML5 has also been built in to the revised browser.

Google’s online PR for its Chrome application was previously enhanced a few months ago when it made improvements to the full screen mode option and included form autofill which completed any information fields in forms automatically for users.
