How to Check PageRank

PageRank is Google’s measure of a page’s importance. PageRank is one of many factors that determine a site’s position is search results.

To check your PageRank you will need to download the Google Toolbar. Note: the toolbar is only available Internet Explorer.

  • Once you have downloaded and installed the toolbar, visit your site and on the toolbar you will need to click on the Google logo, then on Options.
  • Make sure the box labeled PageRank Display is checked, then click on OK.
  • You should now see a small bar on the toolbar labeled PageRank.
  • If you hover over it a small yellow box will appear with a score out of 10.
  • This is your site’s PageRank.
