St Michael’s Primary School have had a welcome boost to their fundraising efforts thanks to ClickThrough Marketing.
The Lichfield based digital marketing agency were one of a number of companies who collectively donated over £4,000 sponsorship money from last week’s half marathon to the school, and helped them towards buying new outdoor play equipment.
There was also a 1.3 mile fun run alongside the main half marathon, which local youngsters took part in.
The half marathon, which took place on Sunday May 1st saw athletes running the route to and from Lichfield via Whittington.
The weather held out for the event and a good time was had by all. Steven McLaren, chairman of the PTA at St Michaels said:
“’There was a fantastic atmosphere on the day and both the children and members of St Michael’s PTA team taking part were determined to finish, to make sure all sponsorship money would be collected. We are very grateful to ClickThrough for the great support in helping us achieve our Playground Equipment target “
