In light of the fact there didn’t appear to be any public waves on SEO and internet marketing, Clickthrough decided to set one up!
SEO and Internet marketing Google Wave
We haven’t really publicised it yet, but feel free to tell others to come and join us in our new community.
The point of the SEO Wave is to explore what potential it will have for search engineers and marketers as we move forwards, to test some of the many applications that are being developed daily, and discuss amongst ourselves how we see it being used, what we would change and so on.
We are definitely not drowning, we’re Waving!
Finally got the preview invite so will be posting here as more is discovered by playing with it, but if you are already using it, comment here and let’s talk Internet marketing and SEO and blogging and social networking, advertising, you name it and experiment with waves and pings etc!
It looks like fun when people can live blog and comment ….I think!
Google Wave will be launched on Sept 30th to 100,o00 invitees. If you haven’t already studied what Google Wave will be bringing to the online world, you need to start today. Mashable have created a clear guide to Google Wave, which is well worth reading, and there are thousands of articles on Google Wave out there now as the hype increases for this real-time communication tool.
From a marketing and communication point of view for businesses, Google wave will offer untold opportunities to engage with your customers, dealing with customer service issues for instance in real time. The opportunities for instant focus groups, forums, webinars and so on would at first glance seem to be only limited by your imagination.
If you haven’t already applied to be one of the first round of Google Wave users at the end of the month, you really should.
