We caught up with our Digital Content Executive, Sophie Hillier, to find out more about her CTM experience so far...
When did you join ClickThrough Marketing?
What does your role at CTM involve?
My role involves creating engaging content for a range of clients. This can include anything from writing online copy for category pages on e-commerce sites, to writing blog posts and creating infographics.
What’s your background?
Before joining ClickThrough I started my training to become a primary school teacher but swiftly realised it wasn't for me. Before that, I was completing my degree in English Literature at Lancaster Uni.
What do you love about your role at CTM?
I love that I get to utilise my creativity everyday - whether that's through my writing or helping to design more visual content. I also love learning new things, so writing for a whole host of different clients means I'm constantly learning about loads of random topics!
What do you like about ClickThrough and its culture?
I love that ClickThrough really cares about it's employees. It helps to create a positive working environment and means we're able to create high-quality work for our clients! Also the real family feel of ClickThrough is something you don't come across often so I feel incredibly lucky to work here.
If you hadn’t gone into marketing, what would your other career option be?
Something arty! I've always loved drawing in my spare time, so it would be doing illustration or calligraphy.
If you could trade places with any other person for a week, who would it be and why?
Probably a comedian like Peter Kay. I'd enjoy just making myself (and other people) chuckle all day.
What do you do in your spare time?
It sounds boring but I love getting cosy with a cuppa and watching a good TV show. I'm also a bit of a bookworm, but I often struggle to find the time to read!
