Ian Boyden, e-commerce paid search specialist, has been named the ClickThrough Employee of the Year for 2015.
Ian first joined ClickThrough as a PPC account executive in October 2012. Since then, his PPC career has flourished and in 2015 he took on the new role of e-commerce paid specialist. Ian has excelled in this new role, transforming his approach to paid search from both a commercial and strategic level.
Ian was chosen as Employee of the Year for a number of reasons, too many to list, but here’s a few:
But don’t take our word for it. Here’s what James Stringer, Head of Online Marketing, Dunelm.com, had to say about Ian’s work over Christmas and the New Year:
During the busiest and most competitive time of the year our paid search and PLA advertising campaigns have been working really hard, driving good levels of efficiency. This in itself is a complement to all the hard work at ClickThrough, as well as the broader partnership with Feedspark and Google, in building a robust platform from which we can invest. There’s no doubt that the diligence and attention to detail from Ian and Dave at ClickThrough and our own Richard over Christmas and the New Year was the driver of such a strong performance.
In 2015, Ian created new impression share to sales forecasting tools, new reporting formats and has become a real ambassador of Kenshoo, using its sophisticated automated bidding strategies to transform clients’ results and bring time efficiencies with campaign optimisation.
He is always happy to be a sounding board for the Paid Search team with their client strategies and I would say the guru in the team when it comes to forecasting. He has a lot of knowledge to share and is always happy to get stuck in. – Zoe O’Neill, director of paid search, ClickThrough Marketing.
