Welcome to Chris Swannell, our new Finance Manager!

Say hello to Chris Swannell, the newest member of the ClickThrough team! Chris joins us as our new Finance Manager and will be working with Mafer to support the wider business with all things finance.

We caught up with Chris to find out more about our newest starter!

When did you join ClickThrough?

I joined ClickThrough on 25/10/2021.

What does your role at ClickThrough involve?

Leading a strong finance function to provide accurate and timely information to the leadership team. I also work with and support the wider ClickThrough team with finance-related matters.

What’s your background?

I have been in finance for nearly 10 years working in a variety of different sectors. Most recently, I was employed with another digital agency in the South before relocating to Stoke.

What do you love about your role at ClickThrough?

I strangely love the world of finance and numbers! ClickThrough is on an amazing journey of growth, and I relish the opportunity to assist with its journey.

What do you like about ClickThrough and its culture?

ClickThrough is dedicated to providing exceptional service to its clients and investing in new technologies to add as much value as possible to its clients. Overall, it’s continually looking to improve the service provided to the client by challenging the norm.

The team is all very welcoming with some very talented individuals and there are so many opportunities to learn.

If you hadn’t gone into finance, what would your other career option be?

Becoming a firefighter is something that really appeals to me, it’s very rewarding, and overcoming huge challenges on a regular basis is what drives me.

If you could trade places with any other person for a week, who would it be and why?

Lando Norris - being given the opportunity to race around a racetrack at 220mph seems strangely appealing to me, and I’d get to be 22 again!

What do you do in your spare time?

I am from the South of England where I have spent most of my life and have just recently moved to Stoke-On-Trent. I have 3 children and most of my free time is spent with them. When I am not spending time with my children, I can be found in the Army Reserves or out running/hiking.
