Michal Marhefka joins the ClickThrough team as a Data Scientist. This means Michal will be working hands on with data within our Page Attribution Tool and Behavioural Segmentation Project.

I joined ClickThrough on 19/07/2021

 

WHAT DOES YOUR ROLE AT CLICKTHROUGH INVOLVE?

I am filling the Data Scientist role for the upcoming Page Attribution Tool & Behavioural Segmentation project.

 

WHAT'S YOUR BACKGROUND?

I have recently finished my degree at Coventry University where I studied Mathematics and Data Analytics.

 

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR ROLE AT CLICKTHROUGH?

I like this role because of the opportunity to learn specific topics in data science that I haven’t come across before, such as Machine Learning. Having this exposure and learning first hand from experts will help me progress in my future career.

 

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT CLICKTHROUGH AND ITS CULTURE?

I like the positive relationships between staff here and the innovative vision that ClickThrough has.

 

IF YOU HADN’T GONE INTO MARKETING, WHAT WOULD YOUR OTHER CAREER OPTION BE?

I would probably work in any industry within a Data Science role that has interesting data to work with. Working with food data within a food industry would be interesting and based on different requirements.

 

IF YOU COULD TRADE PLACES WITH ANY OTHER PERSON FOR A WEEK, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

For a week, I would trade places with an astrophysicist as this has been a long time hobby of mine. I have always been interested in learning about outer space.

 

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

I like to stay active in my spare time by playing basketball and badminton with my friends. I also regularly engage in playing chess.
