We talk to one of DPM's newest members, Matt Taylor, and find out what brought our latest Mancunian to the team!

WE TALK 'ALL THINGS DISPLAY' WITH MATT TAYLOR, THE DPM TEAM'S NEWEST MEMBER

Matt Taylor is bringing his expertise in programmatic display to team ClickThrough. We get to know the DPM team's newest member, and find out what he gets up to in his spare time.

When did you join ClickThrough?

April 12th

 

What does your role at ClickThrough involve?

In a nutshell “all things display” I am supporting Sarah with all our clients who have display activity running, creating weekly reports, running through insights on weekly calls, and trafficking any new creatives our client has to get them out into the world.

 

What’s your background?

I’ve always been quite nerdy so I think working in this kind of industry was always inevitable. I studied TV Production at Uni which was super interesting but ultimately not the path I wanted to go down. I went out on a limb and applied to a Digital Marketing Agency and immediately fell in love with the work. I started off building Google Ads campaigns before managing my own client base and eventually becoming a Team Leader. Lockdown and Covid had a huge impact on the kind of work I was doing, so I took a leap and applied to ClickThrough to take the next step in my career and here I am!

 

What do you love about your role at ClickThrough?

I love not taking inbound phone calls anymore! But genuinely, the people here have been absolutely amazing in supporting me and helping me settle in. I love being on a client call and seeing how passionate and excited everyone gets to announce their results and insights each week.

 

What do you like about ClickThrough and its culture?

You guys are like one big family and it’s great to be able to be a part of that. The culture just seems so genuine and everything is done with the right intentions, rather than just a box ticking exercise.

 

If you hadn’t gone into marketing, what would your other career option be?

I was sooo close to being a Park Ranger believe it or not!

 

If you could trade places with any other person for a week, who would it be and why?

Too many choices, maybe a Man United Footballer, David Attenborough, or Sarah just to give her a break.

 

What do you do in your spare time?

Watch lots of TV, play lots of computer games, and now the world is opening up a bit it’s great to go out for some food and drinks now, and when the weather improves, get out fishing again!
