From playing hockey to David Attenborough, we find out all we need to know from our newest starter, Beth Whitehead.
BETH WHITEHEAD JOINS THE CLICKTHROUGH TEAM AS A CONTENT EXECUTIVE!
We caught up with Beth to find out a little more about her!
WHEN DID YOU JOIN CLICKTHROUGH?
I joined mid July 2021, so I’m just coming into my 3rd week with ClickThrough.
WHAT DOES YOUR ROLE AT CLICKTHROUGH INVOLVE?
I’m a content executive, supporting the wider content team on the content strategy and deliverables.
WHAT’S YOUR BACKGROUND?
I graduated from the Open University with a BA(Hons) in English Language and Creative Writing, since leaving university I’ve only skimmed the surface when it comes to copywriting and content creation. My previous role was a booking co-ordinator within the feature films department of a B2B travel agency, specialising in the media. I enjoyed my time working there, however knew it was time for me to challenge myself, putting skills learnt at university into play.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR ROLE AT CLICKTHROUGH?
I have so far enjoyed the diversity of the clients who work with ClickThrough, each day is totally different and I’m learning so much more than I thought I could in such a short space of time.
What do you like about ClickThrough and its culture?
The most noticeable thing for me has been the welcoming, friendly nature of everyone at ClickThrough. The content team especially have made me feel like I am so, so welcome and I couldn’t be more thankful for such a supportive group of people to work with.
IF YOU HADN’T GONE INTO MARKETING, WHAT WOULD YOUR OTHER CAREER OPTION BE?
I think I would have gone on to do some further higher education, potentially with a completely different career path within the health sector.
IF YOU COULD TRADE PLACES WITH ANY OTHER PERSON FOR A WEEK, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I think I’d have to trade places with David Attenborough, although I’m not a huge outdoorsy person – I just think it would be amazing to have seen all of the things he has been lucky enough to experience in his lifetime.
WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
I have two small children, so most of my time is spent with them – playing or clearing up after them! Other than that, we try and get to the coast as much as possible, as well as going to the gym and playing hockey.
