This month, we are celebrating not one but TWO employees of the month! Katy and Jack both proved themselves worthy of the coveted EOTM mug and there was simply nothing to separate them in terms of their hard work and dedication. We get to know both Katy and Jack and find out what they enjoy about working at ClickThrough.
Katy Aston
Katy is our Marketing & Data Coordinator. She was nominated for the EOT award by her colleagues for continuously going above and beyond to get ClickThrough's work seen in the right places.
"Katy goes beyond her remit within the marketing team to ensure ClickThrough is seen in the best possible light. In addition to her hard work in drawing up our awards plan, she has fallen down a 'Drum wormhole' (as she puts it!) to ensure we've got our best face forwards. It's tasks like this that regularly get pushed to the bottom of my radar so I'm very grateful she's so on it!"
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT CLICKTHROUGH?
I’m a Marketing and Data Coordinator working 15 hours a week. I am responsible for providing the Sales team with the Competitor Intelligence Reports they use during conversations with potential clients. I also write the case studies you’ll find on our website which are a fantastic profile-raising tool for CTM and are used by Marketing on other websites such as The Drum and as snippets on our social media etc. Currently I am putting together a schedule for awards submissions which I will be looking after going forwards.
WHAT ARE THREE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE YOU?
Truthful. Thoughtful. Tenacious.
WHAT DO YOU INTEND TO SPEND YOUR WINNING VOUCHER ON?
I’m thinking some clothes to fit my new lockdown frame. Or wine….
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART ABOUT WORKING AT CLICKTHROUGH?
My team mates. They are so supportive, understanding, helpful and fun! They understand my strengths, needs and mindset. We work together really well looking out for each other, and between us we get the job done!
WHAT HAVE YOU GAINED FROM WORKING AT CLICKTHROUGH?
My role at clickthrough is really flexible which means I can fit my hours around my family without any stress being involved. This is so rare that it’s something I really value. I’ve also regained confidence in my abilities since being made redundant in the past, this is ongoing but I feel very supported by the company and my managers. And obviously I've gained some lovely new friends and colleagues.
Jack Fisher
Jack is none of our Digital Paid Media Executives. He was nominated to be our April Employee of the Month after throwing himself into his first QBRs and for continuously proving himself to be a meticulous member of the team.
"He has gone above and beyond my expectations the past month. I have heard amazing feedback from so many people on his delivery at his first QBR. He also created and presented slides for another QBR in my absence and lead on calls I couldn't attend last minute. Every task I give him I know I can trust him to action competently and accurately with little input from myself. He has taken complete ownership of two accounts' optimisations the past few weeks and has been a huge support."
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT CLICKTHROUGH?
My role is Digital Paid Media Executive, in which I work to deliver paid strategies for our clients that drives improved performance and delivers results that go above and beyond their expectations.

I’d say, determined, hard-working and organised.
WHAT DO YOU INTEND TO SPEND YOUR WINNING VOUCHER ON?
I love tech and am always looking out for new devices, so I’ll be searching for the next piece of tech I’d like to buy.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PART ABOUT WORKING AT CLICKTHROUGH?
Definitely the people and the relationships we all have. The team are super friendly and every single person is easy to talk to and can help you with any problem that you have. We also have great relationships with clients that allow us to work so effectively in delivering on our targets.
WHAT HAVE YOU GAINED FROM WORKING AT CLICKTHROUGH?
I think I’ve gained a lot of confidence in myself, both confidence in speaking with others in the work environment and confidence in my own ability in my field. Which is something I never thought would have come as far as it has in the last 6 months, so that’s been a great surprise.
