He adds that title tags and meta tags should be relevant and that this should be backed up by frequently updated keyword-rich content.
Inbound links are another area where Google focuses importance and adds that although these can be purchased, generating them organically is preferable.
Finally, he notes that during the first six months of a site’s life it will not be ranked and that during this time marketers would do well to invest in all the paid-for ads they can get.
