UK users of Google's AdWords pay per click services may find that updates that have been added can give them more control over their expenditure.

Features of the new Billing tab will now allow individuals to make a manual payment on their account in order to delay automatic charges, as well as adding several other improvements to the way in which costs for internet marketing services campaigns can be managed.

Advertisers can now add multiple forms of payment and switch between them at any time, while they can also specify a billing address that is different to their business address.

There will be the option to initiate payments directly from the billing summary page in order to make the service easier to use and improved help content will be available to those who may require it.

Recently, Google rolled out location-specific AdWords targeting to 17 extra countries in order to help advertisers create more localised promotions.
