This month, our coveted employee of the month award went to Scott Spragg. We got to know Scott and found out more about his role in ClickThrough.
Announcing our employee of the month is always an exciting time for us at ClickThrough. This month, the award and coveted mug goes to Web Developer, Scott Spragg!
“Scott has really stepped up recently in his work with Al on JourneyCraft and has learned new skills and developed his knowledge and enjoyed the experience too. He is also conscientious and helps with the leavers process and keeping logins and access to the business safe at all times. Scott has really had to adapt his skill set during his CTM journey so far. He has been nominated for this award quite a few times but never actually won, it’s great to see him be recognised for his commitment, learning and hard work on JourneyCraft”
We caught up with Scott to find out a little bit more about him, and how his role fits in at ClickThrough.
First up – can you tell us a little bit about your role here at ClickThrough?
I’m a Web developer so I help maintain sites, build out A/B tests, along with supporting Ruby, our Junior Front-End Developer, with her development and assisting the whole agency with technical help.
What is your favourite part of the role?
I’m really enjoying the challenge of working on JourneyCraft, it’s something different and I find it so interesting. I love developing something from a design to a working solution.
What did you do before you joined ClickThrough?
I was a fire alarm engineer just learning web development on the side, then I decided to move into it as a career and started at another agency. I found there wasn't the support I needed there for developing me which is what lead me to join ClickThrough.
What would you say you have gained from working at clickthrough?
My skillset has improved so much, I’ve developed in so many areas and ClickThrough has helped me every step of the way.
What three words would you say describe you?
Devoted, Analytical, and Musicophile (music-lover!)
What do you plan to spend your voucher on?
I’ve just purchased a national trust membership for my children and I, so I chose a national trust voucher that can be used at their cafés and restaurants for when we go for our days out.
Do you have any inspiring words for anyone that is thinking of joining clickthrough?
I just want to say that ClickThrough is fun, welcoming, supportive, and inspirational!
