AdWords announces third-party updates for online marketing servicesGoogle AdWords has announced a number of updates for third-party partners using its features.

Jason Shafton wrote on the Inside AdWords blog that companies using its pay per click services will now be able to find out the proportion of their marketing budget that has been spent on AdWords campaigns.

Furthermore, they will be able to search how many times their ads were clicked and how often they appeared.

Businesses that will have to make changes to their systems as a result of these amendments are being given a six-month window to make necessary arrangements, with agreements starting in February 2011.

Meanwhile, a number of myths surrounding AdWords were recently exploded in a separate post.

The blogger stated that spending on Google AdWords will not directly impact on a website’s ranking for free search results, while closing an account will not lead to sites being banned from Google’s results pages.
