The dates for 2010’s Online Marketing Summit (OMS) have been announced, as has the agenda for the four days.

Taking place between February 22nd and 25th in San Diego, California, the OMS will provide those in internet marketing services positions a chance to receive "hands-on education" relating to tactics and campaign strategies in social media, lead generation, website usability and search, among others.

Founder of the event Aaron Kahlow observed that OMS is a unique programme which offers insights on "all aspects of the online space".

He added: "Online isn’t nearly as esoteric as people think", although he admitted that those who are more used to traditional methods can often feel daunted.

Speakers at this year’s OMS include director of global media at Walt Disney Wendy Aldrich and Liza Tewell, the online editor of REI.

It is being held at Paradise Point Resort and Spa on Mission Bay, just minutes from SeaWorld Adventure Park and a short drive from San Diego Zoo.

A block of rooms at the venue have been reserved but OMS recommends booking accommodation early as more than 500 attendees are expected.
