Google has enhanced its Chrome product, following the advent of the tool’s first birthday a few weeks ago.

Faster than its predecessor, the new stable release is the result of 15 updates, 3,505 bugfixes, 21 beta changes and 51 developer alterations and boasts a new look to some of its more popular features.

Those involved in internet marketing services will benefit from an improvement of 25 per cent in Javascript performance since the last stable was implemented, as well as enhancements made to the Omnibox, which allows users to find sites in as few keystrokes as possible.

Icons have been added in order to help people differentiate between searches, bookmarks, browsing history and suggested pages.

Google’s team of web developers recently increased the size of the search box on its homepage so as to augment ease of use. The text has also been expanded for users to view their queries more clearly.
