Companies working on search engine optimisation may be able to benefit from a new online course being offered by Google.
The short program is aimed at advertisers who already feel comfortable with text ad management and teaches them about the benefits of using Ad Sitelinks, the search engine notes on its Inside AdWords blog.
The Sitelinks feature is an extension of AdWords and permits users to provide additional links to relevant content buried deeper in their sitemap.
As well as enabling enterprises to improve clickthough rates, these also reduce the path to conversion, the company explains.
"Rather than sending all users to the same landing page, Ad Sitelinks will display up to four additional destination URLs for users to choose from," it continues.
The course shows marketers how to set up the function and manage them within their own accounts.
Earlier this month, Google rolled out its free AdWords Campaign Experiments tool.
