Google has announced the release of a Premier SMB Partner programme (PSP) via Google AdWords, according to an article published by Search Engine Watch.

The programme will allow owners of small-to-medium sized businesses (SMB) to locate and connect with advertising specialists in Google AdWords – allowing the businesses to have their PPC marketing campaigns operated and managed by experts in the field.

According to the programme’s page, those SMBs that decide to opt in will gain access to detailed reports – informing them of their campaign performance – support via email and phone, as well as access to experts with ‘local knowledge, product expertise, and access to Google technology’.

Established advertising firms can apply to become a partner in the programme, however there are a number of requirements to have to be met.

Any firm that does make it through the application process will receive some hefty benefits.

These include: access to the latest Google technologies; support covering technical, marketing, account and product areas directly from Google; access to joint promotions and incentives depending on performance.
