When did you join ClickThrough?
I joined on the 13th September 2021.
What does your role at ClickThrough involve?
My role objective is to help deliver SEO strategies and optimisation to improve our clients' business goals, traffic and keywords.
What's your background?
Prior to joining ClickThrough, I worked as an SEO Executive for a celebrity talent management company, focussing on increasing their visibility and brand awareness.
What do you love about your role at ClickThrough?
I love the fact that you can clearly see everybody is really invested in our clients’ goals. The team at ClickThrough are super talented, friendly and you can genuinely tell that everybody wants the best for their clients. I’m also enjoying the variety of work – I’m able to gain a lot of exposure to different industries and websites and I’m picking up so many new things already!
What do you like about ClickThrough and its culture?
I think the passion and desire to continually improve, and progress is great. Everybody is really passionate about their work, and it shows right across the business. Everyone I’ve met has also been extremely friendly and supportive, which has been great for me as a new starter. There are also lots of opportunities for everybody to develop their skillsets and I’m really looking forward to getting involved more.
If you hadn't gone into marketing, what would your other career option be?
I always wanted to work behind the camera in film or television and wanted to get creative! I’ve always loved the process of taking a small idea and making it into something much bigger, like a short film that you continuously improve until it’s finished. Employment in film and TV is competitive however, and I stuck to creating short films at home and reviewing films (which are launching on my personal website very shortly!).
If you could trade places with any other person for a week, who would it be and why?
I would love to trade places with a famous musician when they’re on stage – to hear a crowd singing back a song that you wrote must be pretty insane!
What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy listening to music, playing sports, and watching both new and old films where I'm currently trying to cover IMBD's top 250 list. I'm also a Nottingham Forest fan and you can often find me travelling both home and away to watch them.
