Companies investing in internet marketing may be interested in the results of a new poll, which ranks Yahoo! as the top display ad publisher in the United States.
The research, carried out by comScore, shows that Yahoo! sites clocked up 42.8 billion ad views in March – representing a 13.2 per cent market share.
This compares to a 9.7 per cent market share for Fox Interactive Media and a share of 7.7 per cent for social networking site Facebook.
Google was ranked sixth, with display ad views totalling 4.2 billion in March, representing a 1.3 per cent share of the market.
In terms of advertisers, AT&T was ranked top with almost six billion ad views during the month, followed by Verizon and Vonage.
Meanwhile, figures released by comScore last month revealed that Google sites were the most visited online property in the US in March, followed by Yahoo! sites.
